DIY-Facial Detox Mask: Bentonite Clay

Experience the detoxifying power of bentonite clay in this DIY face mask kit. Formulate your mask to your specific skin type. Kit includes recipe card, 3 packets of bentonite clay, and a silicone mixing brush/applicator. 

A couple of things to note: oily skin folks-apple cider vinegar is extremely acidic. It will leave your face red and irritate eyes, use with caution. If you wanted to dilute the apple cider vinegar you can mix 1 part clay, 1 part (tablespoon) apple cider vinegar and 1 part (tablespoon) water. 

Bentonite clay has been used for centuries for all kinds of remedies. It has pulling/drawing properties. Once mask is applied and begins to dry you will feel your face tightening. Don't worry, that's the clay going to work. Because this is used to draw out toxins you may have a few minor breakouts. That will subside with continued use. 

This kit is good for 3 face masks. Recommended use is 1-2 times/week. Sensitive skin users should start with once per week. As always, I recommend doing a patch test to check for skin sensitivity.
